We designed our cattery to feel like a home, where our Maine Coons are cherished family members, living freely without cages or kennels. From our home in sunny California, we travel wherever needed to match our kittens with their perfect companions.
Membership in TICA and CFA reflects our commitment. Our cattery follows TICA’s ethical standards as well. We proudly support PawPeds’ efforts to preserve the pedigree of our cherished Maine Coons.
At Berry Furry Maine Coon Cattery, we breed Maine Coons with heart and purpose. Our love for this majestic pedigree runs deep, from their tufted ears and flowing coats to their gentle eyes and affectionate personalities. Their calm, intelligent nature and the way they form deep bonds with their people continually inspire us. We cherish these cats as family, not just as pets. They are raised with care and devotion from day one.

Our journey began in 2023. We’ve experienced the sweetest joys of breeding purebred Maine Coons. Alongside the joys, we’ve faced tough challenges too. There have been high highs and low lows, but through it all, one thing has remained constant: Our love fuels our dedication, giving us the strength to keep going. Every day, we work to preserve the exceptional temperament and beauty that define the Maine Coon.
Which one would I choose?
Maine Coons come in a stunning variety of colors and patterns. Maine Coons’ beautiful diversity is one reason the breed is so fascinating. They have over 85 combinations of colors and patterns recognized by the Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA).
Tabbies
Tabbies, especially the brown classic tabby, are the most common and iconic pattern. Their wild, lion-like look is one reason Maine Coons are so famous. Their bold stripes and swirls highlight the breed’s majestic presence.
Solids
Solid colors such as black, white, and blue (gray) are just as captivating. These coats give Maine Coons a sleek and timeless beauty, whether in the mystery of black, the purity of white, or the elegance of gray.
Bicolors & Shaded Coats
Bicolors stand out with striking contrasts of light and dark patches. Shaded coats, on the other hand, shimmer with silvery highlights that catch the light and add depth to the fur. Both variations bring unique beauty to the breed.
Overall Diversity
From bold tabbies to elegant solids, and from striking bicolors to shimmering shaded coats, Maine Coons come in an incredible range of colors and patterns. This beautiful diversity is one of the many reasons the breed is so fascinating.
Patterns include classic tabby, mackerel tabby, spotted tabby, solid, smoke, shaded, tortoiseshell, calico, and bicolor, among others. Some Maine Coons come with white markings such as mittens, bibs, or a blaze on the face. Breeders refer to these patterns as ‘with white.’ Beyond their colors, Maine Coons are loved for their personality and heart.
